HOME RULES OF SAFETY (con't)
THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE ON THE FIELD IS …"GOGGLES ON AT ALL TIMES"
Do not shoot any players within 15 Feet without first calling for a "surrender", twice (2) loudly . The opposing player may choose not to surrender, but must verbally and physically signal that they "surrender" or they will be considered fair game. Keep in mind that shooting someone at that close a distance may result in a bruise. Do not shoot a player repeatedly, once they have been hit. Once eliminated, it is the player's responsibility to let everyone know he/she is out by raising your gun high over your head and verbally signaling you are out, then placing a barrel sleeve on your gun.
You may not jump over or aggressively "touch" any bunker. You may not climb trees or any unauthorized structures.
Do not cross the designated boundaries - the fences or a rope border designating out of bounds. Crossing these boundaries is an instant elimination.
All paintball guns must be chronographed (3 shots) under 290 fps (feet per second), safety limit before it goes on the field, any marker shooting over 290 fps will not be allowed on the field. If a field judge suspects a gun at anytime of being tampered with, he may remove that player and gun for testing and\or adjustment at the chronograph. Players are not permitted to bring velocity adjusting tools onto the field, any player caught adjusting or altering their gun so as to affect the velocity of the paintball gun, will be removed from the playing field for the rest of that session (4 hours) without a refund. The management of Sure Shooting Paintball Park reserves the right to refuse the use of any piece of equipment brought to the Park, that is deemed unsafe or improper.
There will be no alcohol, drugs, firearms, knives, physical contact, or abusive language allowed on this field. Violation of any of these offenses will result in the removal of the offending player (s) from the field. Obey the field judges at all times. Report any hazards , injuries, unsafe equipment, abusive and /or unsafe players to any field judge or field staff. We want you to enjoy your play.
Do not pick up any paintballs off the ground. Debris and moisture get on the paintballs, then into the marker which will result in malfunctions. Check your equipment before play. During very cool or cold weather, reduce your firing rate, so the paintball gun will function properly.
Leave keys, wallets, pagers, cell phones, etc. in your cars. You will or can lose them on the fields of play. If something is lost on the field, inform the judge (after the conclusion of the current game). The judge will allow you some time to search for the lost item.
A field judges first responsibility is to the safety of the player and the group, then to the rental equipment and to the play of the game.
